artist:
filter genre: industrial rock guests: none album: title of the record Vaguely melodic, It's no quite the same as his first debut Short Bus, its more of an a clean rock with some electronic samples that clean up the song, yes some songs have industrial samples but most of the cd is clean rock , two of my top songs would be Welcome To The Fold, which is a really a refreshing industrial rock track, another pick would be the The Best Things, which is quite dissimilar to others, its more of an techno exploit with heavy guitar riffs and fast drum loops. Overall this is one of the best cd's of 1999. Another song that stands out is Take a picture, which is a more of an soft rock type of song

artist: orgy genre: new wave industrial guests: jonathan davis of koRn, on track revival album: candyass KoRn said that Orgy is one of their favorite bands, it's not part of the traditional metal world. But we all know that frontman of KoRn likes industrial bands such as NiN, and Orgy churns out a cascade of industrial beats drenched in danceable rhythms, even though it has some weird danceable rhytms, you can for sure headbang to it, the cd for sure does not use just techno beats, the whole album is full of hard guitar riffs crunchin' bass and heavy electronic drums that will make you headbang. This is a must get cd. |

artist: rob zombie genre: industrial metal guests: tom lee does some drum work on couple tracks, danny lohner of NiN does guitar and bass work on the whole cd album: hellbilly deluxe Hellbilly Deluxe is the perfect soundtrack for dancing at midnight in an abandoned cemetery in the middle of nowhere as the wind howls, lightning crashes, and wolves howl in the pitch-black forest. Rob Zombie is one of those smart people that love strange things, i am sure that every headbanger know who this guy is, he is well know for white zombie which was one of the best band of 80's and 90's, almost every other song has some cheesy samples from old horror movies but that makes the track unique, this is one of the best albums i have bought and it is guaranteed to make you headbang. This is another must have album. |

artist: prodigy genre: alternative dance guests: kool keith raps on diesel power, kula shaker on the melodic dance track narayan album: fat of the land Every Prodigy album is different and every prodigy fan would agree with me, this one is more of an hard alternative dance type, many people call them techno which is false, sure songs have a techno feel but they are far from techno, drums are real and almost every track uses guitars, track breathe is more of an rock song, if you seen this guys live you would know what i mean, they are electronic punks with a rock attitude, their shows are crazy, its not just keyboards are bunchof guys jumping around, its a full stage of crazy fuckers with electric guitars and real drums along with many keyboards used by the frontman laim howllet, the singers dont like full time rockers, i higly suggest that if you get a chance to see them live you do it, you wont be dissapointed. This my favorite cd. |

artist(s): various genre: Industrial guests: - album: Industrial Tribute to Metallica - The Blackest Album I had my doubts about this cd, because Metallica is simply the greatest band ever and there was no need for any remixes, but i saw some good underground dj's,band appear on this cd, ah yes these band would be totally unfamiliar to americans, they're even underground in europe, but this cd is everything a industrial fan would want, The romantic ballad, "Nothing Else Matters," gets a new-age vocal treatment by Apoptygma Berzerk , while The Element's "Elemental Mix" drapes a gorgeous, gothic mood over the song, with ethereal synth riffs and whispered vocals buried deep in the mix, resulting in an almost sacred feel. Die Krupps' "Refiltered Mix" of "Battery" is an aggro-dance sturm und drang set in sharp contrast to La Honda Militia's trip-hop-into-synthcore instrumental version of the same song. Completing the aural triptych are two analyses of "The Thing That Should Not Be." Razed in Black's version retains a sharp metal edge, with snarling vocals and driving industrial beats while Carbon 12 opts for hushed, processed vocals and a sinister, cybercore feel, producing a stomp-fest worthy of KMFDM. Rounding out the disc are a speed metal version of "Whiplash" by Abbadon of Venom, Hellsau's head-banging execution of "Master of Puppets" and "Sad but True," performed as a brilliant, spot-on industrial rap. Deep, dark cross-genre fun for Metallica fans and industrial purists alike. |

artist: crystal method genre: alternative Dance / hard electro guests: Trixy Reiss: Vocals album: vegas This is funny, Crystal Method is being described as Rock Band? Not that i have anything against that, its just that there are no rock bands with only keyboards? But i guess their Heavy and jumpy Dance beats have a somewhat of an Rock Feel, Crystal Method has grown to be one of my favorite bands, i discovered them when they did a track with Filter on the Spawn Soundtrack, i was blown away this is one of the best cd's you would want to have in your car or such, this just makes you jump up and down dance headbang and all that stuff, it has an explainable energy, if you havent heard of these guys you have no idea what you are missing i higly suggest you listen to the samples below! If you want something that will completely rock you get this cd, its a well made cd for party's, cars, and such. |

artist: fear factory genre: industrial heavy metal guests: gary numan album: obsolete Godamn! This is so fucking heavy,Fear Factory has modernized, clarified and brutalized Voivod's chaos by streamlining its guitar riffs into sophisticated engines that churn out insanely heavy, fast and catchy melodies. The practically inhuman drumming combined with vocalist Burton's ethereal howl make Fear Factory an unforgettable force on the metal scene. These guys are fucking crazy and some of their songs are too damn weird, some of their songs are so crazy you will feel like you are in another dimension due to those weird and space synths from their keyboardist. This will for sure make your ears bleed, It's just too fucking powerfull! Listen to the samples! |
